On January 3, 2000 Massport took the next step in moving its major real-estate development projects forward on the South Boston waterfront by filing two Environmental Impact Reports (EIR) and Project Impact Reports (PIR) for both its proposed Parcel F projects (hotel/office towers) and the entire Commonwealth Flats area (30 acres of developable property).
The filed reports respond to last year's filing of two Environmental Notification Forms (ENF) for these projects. At that time, SAND submitted its position:
