According to the Boston Globe, the Beacon Cos., developers of office and hotel projects including Rowes Wharf, are considering a partnership with the Chicago-based Pritzker family, owners of Fan Pier, to build on that Seaport District parcel.
Beacon Cos.' president Edwin N. Sidman has not confirmed this relationship with the Globe, nor was an association with the Pritzker family mentioned during Sidman's participation as a panelist at the Boston Harbor Conference which concluded on May 21, 1998. Unnamed Globe sources provided information on the discussions.
The Pritzker's former partner in Fan Pier development was Boston Properties (more info).
